US Presidential Candidate Embraces AI Advisor

US presidential hopeful Thomas Ross is leveraging artificial intelligence in his campaign, according to Decrypt.

Ross secured the nomination from the Transhumanist Party in May 2023. He employs the Emvee chatbot, based on generative AI, as his advisor.

“I use Emvee specifically for strategy. It suggested focusing on AI and transhumanism conspiracy theories during the campaign, as the topic will attract attention and spark discussions that could dispel myths,” Ross noted.

The politician’s AI manager is built on Norn AI technology. The party advocates for a cybernetic future where neural networks and humanity coexist within the framework of singularity.

Ross acknowledged that his chances of winning the presidential race are slim, but his primary goal is to raise awareness about transhumanism and combat misinformation related to AI.

He believes that artificial intelligence and blockchain technology can also be used to eradicate government corruption and uncover the shadow circulation of funds flowing into Washington.

“I have an initiative called Dark Audits, where a third-party AI system audits federal officials and the source of their funds,” Ross said.

Back in July, former US presidential candidate Zoltan Istvan expressed concerns that AI challenges the pursuit of immortality.
