Eric Trump, son of former U.S. President Donald Trump, has urged investors to buy bitcoin during market downturns. He replaced the letter B in the word Buy with the ticker BTC on X.

“Volatility is a gift to the faithful,” responded Michael Saylor, founder of Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy), to Trump.

Some users hinted that due to the prolonged market correction, they simply have no funds left to increase their positions.

In the past 24 hours, bitcoin has fallen by 7.5%. The asset is trading around $86,900, according to CoinGecko.

The dominance index of digital gold in the cryptocurrency market reached 60%. The last time such a high level was observed was in March 2021.

Earlier, on February 4, Eric Trump recommended buying ETH following a major correction.

At the time of writing, the portfolio of the Trump family company World Liberty Financial (WLFI) includes $71.40 million in cryptocurrency.
