YZi Labs Invests in Plume

The venture firm YZi Labs (formerly Binance Labs) has invested an undisclosed amount in the modular blockchain Plume, which focuses on the tokenization of real-world assets (RWA).

The Plume project team is developing an EVM-compatible environment that provides users with access to traditional financial instruments, carbon credits, GPUs, collectibles, and other assets. 

YZi Labs’ investment will enable Plume to scale, strengthening its position in the RWAfi ecosystem and expanding its presence in emerging markets.

“We are grateful to YZi Labs for believing in our vision and supporting our efforts to integrate RWA into the crypto economy,” said Plume co-founder and CEO Chris In. 

The project’s testnet has reached over 18 million wallets, launching partnerships with more than 180 protocols with assets exceeding $4 billion.

Back in late January, YZi Labs led a $16 million investment round for the infrastructure project Sign.
