CZ to Advise Kyrgyz Government on Cryptocurrency Matters
Binance founder Changpeng Zhao (CZ) has become an advisor to the Kyrgyz government on cryptocurrency and blockchain issues.
I officially and unofficially advise a few governments on their crypto regulatory frameworks and blockchain solutions for gov efficiency, expanding blockchain to more than trading. I find this work extremely meaningful.

The entrepreneur signed a memorandum of cooperation with the country’s National Investment Agency.
CZ stated that he advises governments in several jurisdictions on digital asset regulation, blockchain implementation, and enhancing government efficiency. He described this work as “extremely meaningful.”
According to Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov, the collaboration with the Binance founder aims to create technological infrastructure, work on cybersecurity, and train specialists in blockchain and cryptocurrency management.

The head of state noted that the partnership should accelerate economic development and create new opportunities for business and society.
Malaysia has also sought CZ’s advice on cryptocurrencies: Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim met with him personally in January.

Earlier in March, the Kyrgyz cabinet increased the minimum charter capital requirements for cryptocurrency exchanges from 100 million to 10 billion soms (from $1.14 million to $114.3 million).
