EY launches tool to analyse Bitcoin’s blockchain data

Ernst & Young (EY), a Big Four auditing firm, has added a new product for researching blockchain data. The development is part of the EY Blockchain Analyzer package, according to a пресс-релизе.

This is the second such product on EY’s blockchain portal. The first, named EY Smart Contract & Token Review Service, was designed to analyse smart contracts and tokens.

\n

For now, Explorer & Visualizer supports only Bitcoin, but Ethereum will be added to it over time. Using search and visualization technologies, users will be able to track specific transactions, addresses and blocks.

\n

The service will aid in risk assessment and simplify the preparation of financial reporting where blockchain transactions are used. A free beta version is already available to private individuals.

\n

“The Explorer & Visualizer solution will be integrated with the upcoming release of EY OpsChain. This will enable enterprises to enter into blockchain contracts, conduct transactions, and track payments, assets and operations from a single interface,” EY said.

\n

Earlier this year, Chainalysis launched a free analytics portal aimed at asset managers and regulators interested in monitoring cryptocurrency markets.
