Venture capital activity surged in 2020. Compared with 2019, the average venture deal size in the cryptocurrency industry rose by 32.5% to $5.7 million. The Block Research analysts shared these observations.

Growth in the amount raised was observed at all funding rounds. Many blockchain projects attracted between $1 million and $5 million. The median stood at $1.8 million (in 2019 it was $1 million).
