Estonia and Colombia post the Bitcoin white paper on government websites
The Estonian e-Residency program site published a copy of the Bitcoin white paper after the self-proclaimed Bitcoin creator Craig Wright attempted to claim rights to the document.
.@balajis: As you are one of the first e-residents of Estonia, we decided to take up your challenge. The original Bitcoin whitepaper is now hosted on the https://t.co/ddWuaZASsJ website. On January 22, the former Coinbase chief technology officer Balaji Srinivasan proposed that government sites around the world host the Bitcoin white paper.
This is actually an excellent goal. What will be the first government domain to host the Bitcoin whitepaper?
Some places it might happen first:
— @FrancisSuarez: Miami
— @seikatsu: Estonia
— @mikeeisenberg: Israel
— @RMantri: India
— @CaitlinLong_: Wyoming
— @JTLonsdale: Texas https://t.co/ICqTw0tn6Y— balajis.com (@balajis) January 22, 2021
The Bitcoin white paper was also posted by the Colombian government site.
🇨🇴 And Colombia’s government has also posted the Bitcoin whitepaper! @JCastroS is an advisor to the Colombian President, the official government site is https://t.co/Car1PEKke8 and this is their URL shortener. https://t.co/PoKXgSRGJ0
