Blockchain startup Farmer Connect raises $9 million to humanise consumption

According to the press release, the investments will help the startup \”to accelerate humanising consumption through technology\”. Farmer Connect will continue to develop new products and services to achieve sustainable development goals.

Singaporean blockchain startup #dltledgers raises $7 million and switches to Corda
The blockchain startup #dltledgers closed a Series A financing round of $7 million with participation from Regis & Savoy Capital, Vittal and Walden International. Walden International had previously invested $2.5 million, reports Ledger Insights.
The platform for digitising trade and supply chains will spend the funds raised to scale and extend its geographic reach.
#dltledgers also announced a switch from the Hyperledger Fabric blockchain framework to Corda from R3.
Carrefour supermarket network to test blockchain on fruit
The French supermarket chain Carrefour протестирует blockchain technology for citrus fruit supply chains. Information about oranges, limes and mandarins with the Sabor & Qualidade seal can be tracked at any stage.
Shoppers will be able to learn where and when the harvest came from and was packaged, storage and arrival times at stores, as well as information about the producer and the transport company.
The Sabor & Qualidade seal guarantees freshness, sustainability, quality and taste of the fruit at a fair price. The information can be verified on the blockchain by scanning a QR code.
Segafredo coffee brand harnesses blockchain to track supply

RickStream consortium activates Canopy update to accelerate operation
The Institutes RiskStream Collaborative, representing 31 risk-management and insurance companies, activated a major Canopy update on the Corda platform.
The statement said the update would increase throughput and optimise the production of blockchain applications.
