
Black Eyed Peas member to release NFT video clips
A member of the Black Eyed Peas, Allen Pineda Lindo, known as Apl.de.ap, announced the release of four non-fungible tokens (NFTs) on the Portion marketplace.

Each NFT is a unique video clip featuring unreleased music by Apl.de.ap. Artists Tom Coben and AJ Dimarucot helped in creating the works.
“I have always been a collector of limited-edition toys, and I love fashion. So, when I heard that I had the opportunity to release my own collection, I became interested,” said Apl.de.ap in an interview with Decrypt.
Auction will commence on May 24. A portion of Lindo’s proceeds will go to the First Mint Foundation and the Thames International scholarship program to help Filipino artists release their NFTs.
Earlier, four-time world boxing champion Floyd Mayweather announced an NFT collection in the run-up to the bout against YouTuber Logan Paul.
Earlier, American producer and DJ Paul Oakenfold presented 3D comics about his life in NFT form.
