Crypto.com signs sponsorship deal with Paris Saint-Germain

The payments platform Crypto.com has become the sponsor of the French football club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).

Under the agreement, the platform will issue NFT and will provide a substantial portion of the sponsorship contribution in CRO tokens.

“The long-running partnership is worth between €25 million and €30 million, with a substantial portion paid in CRO,” said Crypto.com’s Chief Marketing Officer Steven Kalifovitz in a comment to CoinDesk.

Earlier PSG paid Lionel Messi part of his welcome bonus in $PSG Fan Token fan tokens, issued on the Socios.com blockchain platform.
