Kontinental Hockey League to release NFT collection on Binance

Block-chain.com, the holding company, will release a collection of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) licensed to the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) on the Binance NFT marketplace, according to a press release.

The first KHL.cards tokens will be available in a Mystery Box, launching on September 27 at 20 BUSD each. In the initial phase, 20 NFTs will be offered with varying levels of rarity.

The collection will include cards featuring clips from game highlights, frames from the KHL All-Star Game, images of sporting trophies, and the champions themselves.

The NFTs will be issued in four rarity tiers: Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum. The value of the tokens will depend on this.

“Hockey fans and crypto communities are very similar — they are communities with a lively interest in dynamic processes and impressive victories. We decided to unite these people in a fundamentally new ecosystem, and to acquaint them with the possibilities that NFT offers,” said Alina Krot, executive director of KHL.cards.

The vice-president of the KHL, Sergei Dobrokhalov, also announced the launch of a GameFi project in 2022. The initiative will broaden the possibilities for NFT-card holders.

Earlier, popular TV host and blogger Nastya Ivleeva announced the launch of a charitable NFT project “SON” on the Binance marketplace.

Earlier in August, the State Hermitage Museum and Binance NFT announced the start of sales of tokenized artworks from a limited digital collection.
