BI.ZONE specialists, a company that manages digital risk, detected on the dark web an advertisement for the sale of the user database of the betting platform Pin-Up.bet for cryptocurrency. This was reported by RBC.

The database contains information on nearly 10 million people, with the majority (more than 7.8 million) accounts registered in Russia, 1.3 million in the United Kingdom, 600 thousand in Turkey. It also includes data on users from Brazil, the United States, Germany and Azerbaijan.

The information includes date of birth, email addresses, phone numbers, addresses, gender and financial data. The seller claims the database was current as of the end of 2020.

The seller set a price of $10,000 in cryptocurrency.

The database began to be sold from October 5, according to specialists at Group-IB and Ashot Oganesyan, founder of the data-leakage analysis service DLBI.

In addition to sports betting, Pin-Up.bet allows online casino games, activities that are prohibited in Russia. The international version of the site is blocked by a decision of the Federal Tax Service, however users have access to mirror pages.
