Ritholtz Wealth Management and WisdomTree Launch Crypto Index

Investment adviser Ritholtz Wealth Management and asset manager WisdomTree Investments announced the launch of the RWM WisdomTree Crypto Index. The structure will enable investment in leading digital assets, DeFi tokens, metaverses, oracles and L2 protocols.

The share of Bitcoin in the index will be 36%; Ethereum – 20%; Fantom, Terra, Polygon, Uniswap, Aave, SushiSwap, yearn.finance, Decentraland, Enjin, Chainlink, The Graph – each 4%.

The structure will be managed by registered investment advisers (RIA) within a separately managed account (SMA).

Custody and trading of cryptocurrencies will be handled by the Bitcoin exchange Gemini, with the technical solution provided by OnRamp. The latter operates as an “integration platform-as-a-service” (iPaaS), giving US-based RIAs access to the crypto market.

As reported in OnRamp raised $6 million in a seed round with participation from Coinbase Ventures and the Gemini Frontier Fund.
