
CME launches Ethereum microfutures trading
On December 6, the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) launched microfutures on the cryptocurrency Ethereum.

Each contract is one-tenth of ETH. Microfutures are cash-settled and do not involve physical delivery.
Against this backdrop, the price of the second-largest cryptocurrency rose above $4,160. In the last 24 hours, the asset rose by 0.5%, according to CoinGecko.

Earlier, the Chicago Mercantile Exchange launched Ethereum futures in February. In May, CME began trading microfutures on Bitcoin.
