Survey shows investor interest in DeFi rose in 2021

42% of participants in the survey ForkLog «Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in our lives» invested in the DeFi sector. Another 25.5% of respondents plan to do so.

34.5% invested in DeFi tokens, 14% engage in yield farming and nearly 8% invested in companies involved in the sector’s development.

In 2020, 25% of respondents said they had invested in DeFi, and more than half noted that they did not know enough about the technology or did not trust such projects.

The most popular service in this sector in 2021 was PancakeSwap. It was used by 26% of respondents.

Chainlink co-founder Sergey Nazarov stated that the DeFi space would continue to grow in 2022 thanks to the emergence of traditional banks.
