Gate.io cuts trading fees for large investors from other platforms

The cryptocurrency exchange Gate.io is offering reduced fees for traders whose monthly trading volume on other platforms exceeds 3,000 BTC. The company said this in a press release and on its site.

Investors may apply to participate in the programme until 30 June 2022. The exchange offers the following trading fees:

\n\n\n

• from -0.005% for makers and from 0.025% for takers on spot markets;
• from -0.020% for makers and from 0.030% for takers on futures markets.

\n\n\n

Based on the actual trading volume over the last 30 days Gate.io assigns the investor a VIP-client status from level 11 to 15. The higher the level, the lower the fees.

\n\n\n

Traders are also required to send to the email mm@gate.io:

\n\n\n

• Gate.io user ID;
• a document that confirms trading volume;
• Telegram username.

\n\n\n

The reduced fees apply for 30 days from the submission of the application. Afterwards, depending on trading volume on Gate.io, the exchange determines a new VIP-client level and updates the trading fees.
