The new funding is a continuation of the Series B3 round. In early April the startup raised $88 млн при оценке в $2 млрд from Insight Partners, Tiger Global, Advent International and other investors.
According to the startup’s CEO Ronhuya Gu, SoftBank Vision Fund and Tiger Global became the sole participants in the additional round. For the Japanese financial conglomerate, this is its first investment in a firm focusing on smart-contract security.
Partnership with the two investment giants will allow CertiK to forge ties with traditional companies looking to enter the Web 3.0 space.
Since the beginning of 2022, the amount of DeFi funds stolen from ecosystems has reached $1,22 млрд. Notable among these were incidents involving Ronin Network, Wormhole, Qubit Finance and Meter.
