Facebook to test NFT support
Meta has begun rolling out NFT support for selected US-based authors on its flagship social network Facebook, Decrypt reports.
Originally, it concerns collectible tokens on the Ethereum and Polygon networks. Support for Solana and Flow will be added subsequently.
The feature was demonstrated by Meta product manager Navdeep Singh. According to the announcement, users will see a ‘digital collectibles’ tab on their profiles.

Users will be able to connect cryptocurrency wallets to their profiles. They will be able to publish NFTs as posts.
In May, Meta began testing NFT support on Instagram. The first integrated networks also included Ethereum and Polygon.
Wallets listed as available for connections include: Rainbow, MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Coinbase Wallet, Dapper and Phantom.
Earlier reports indicated that Meta planned to integrate NFT into Instagram and Facebook.
In March, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg confirmed the information.
