1inch Network to distribute 300,000 Optimism (OP) tokens

The DeFi project 1inch Network will distribute 300,000 OP tokens among its users. ForkLog has learned from project representatives.

The tokens will be distributed evenly among 3,782 active 1inch Wallet users. The winners’ selections are final and not subject to discussion.

1inch Network expanded to Optimism in August 2021. As of last month, just over 45,000 wallets in total had used 1inch protocols on Optimism. 28,600 of them had Optimism as their primary network.

In L2-network of Optimism, transaction verifications are bundled off-chain, reducing processing and transaction costs for decentralized applications.

According to DeFi Llama, at the end of August 2022, TVL on Optimism stood at $1.9 billion.

In August, 1inch Network announced the integration with the Ethereum Virtual Machine of the Aurora platform.
