Ozzy Osbourne and Soulja Boy to participate in Decentraland festival

Ozzy Osbourne, rapper Soulja Boy, and DJ Dylan Francis, along with more than a hundred musicians will participate in the second Metaverse Music Festival in Decentraland from November 10 to 13.

Also announced are Vladimir Koshmar, SNH4, Spottie WiFi, Atarashii Gakko, Amadis & The Ambassador, Maya Kauhanen and others.

Participation in the festival is free. A headset, VR headset or ticket will not be required.

The first event, held in 2021, attracted 50,000 unique visitors. Over four days, Deadmau5, 3LAU, Paris Hilton, RAC, Alison Wonderland and others performed.

At the upcoming festival, guests can expect “new possibilities,” in particular motion-capture technology from the Move.ai startup. They will also test a solution from Kinetix.tech that will enable creating NFTs with emotions using only a smartphone camera.

Kraken, the digital-asset platform, became the festival’s partner.

In March, Decentraland hosted Metaverse Fashion Week. Its participants included Dolce & Gabbana, Paco Rabanne, Tommy Hilfiger, Jacob & Co, Elie Saab, Etro, Dundas, Nicholas Kirkwood, Cavalli, Axel Arigato, as well as other fashion houses and brands.
