Solo Miner Earns $347,980 from Bitcoin Block

Solo miner earns $347,980 from Bitcoin block.

On September 7, a solo miner successfully mined block #913,593 on the Bitcoin network, earning a reward of 3.13 BTC ($347,980).

According to mempool.space, the block contained 593 transactions, which brought the miner a total of 0.004 BTC (~$471) in fees or ~$471.

The miner used equipment with a hash rate of 200 TH/s and the CKPool platform. Pool administrator Con Kolivas noted that the odds with such power were approximately 1 in 36,000 per day, or once every 100 years.

He also reported that this is the 307th block confirmed by solo miners through CKPool. The previous such event occurred on September 1, but since then, competition in the network has significantly increased.

Mining Difficulty Reaches Record 136 T

On September 5, following the latest recalculation, the difficulty of the Bitcoin network increased by 4.89%, reaching a historic high of 136.04 T.

The metric has risen for the fifth consecutive time. The inter-block interval remains consistently below the algorithm’s intended 10 minutes, with preliminary forecasts indicating further increases in difficulty.

According to Glassnode, the hash rate (7 DMA) surpassed the significant milestone of 1 ZH/s at the end of August. At the time of writing, the parameter adjusted to 973 EH/s.
