Bitget Becomes Sponsor of Juventus Women’s Team
Cryptocurrency exchange Bitget has become the official sponsor of Juventus’s women’s team. The exchange announced this in a blog post on International Women’s Day.
Over the course of its existence, the team has won five league titles, two Coppa Italia titles and three Supercoppa Italiana titles. In 2021, Juventus Women’s team became the first Italian club to win all league matches. In the following season they reached the quarterfinals of the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
Bitget notes that the sponsorship decision was inspired by its own workforce: 40% of Bitget’s leadership positions are held by women, and the company advocates for equal opportunities in the crypto industry.
“We stand in solidarity with Juventus Women’s team and hope that our partnership will grow into a long-term collaboration that inspires many women to earn from cryptocurrencies,” commented Gracie Chen, the managing director of Bitget.
In turn, Juventus’s chief commercial officer, Tiziana Di Gioia, stated that the football club supports the crypto exchange’s stance on gender equality:
“We understand the importance of providing equal opportunities in all areas of life — whether in sport or digital technologies — and we are proud to partner with a company that shares our values.”
Bitget is a cryptocurrency exchange for spot and futures trading, P2P and OTC trades, copy trading, and passive earnings from Bitget Earn products. In January 2023 the platform launched the Fund Custody service to store assets on a dedicated wallet, and in February it entered into a partnership with the trader platform TradingView.
Earlier, Bitget became a partner of Juventus FC’s first team.
