ARK Invest’s Cathie Wood buys Block shares for $6.4 million

Three Ark Invest funds bought an additional 92,165 shares of Jack Dorsey’s Block for an approximate $6.4 million. This is stated in the organization’s trading notifications.

ARK Innovation ETF (ARKK) purchased 77,991 shares, ARK Next Generation Internet ETF (ARKW) added 13,170 shares, and ARK Fintech Innovation ETF (ARKF) acquired 1,004.

After the close on March 13, Block’s stock fell 2.18%, trading at $69.46.

Earlier, the former Twitter chief announced «a Bitcoin mining developer kit».

In February 2023, ARK Invest purchased Coinbase shares for sums about $9.3 million and about $6.7 million.

In early March, the firm’s added Robinhood securities for $3.44 million and $9.97 million, respectively.

Later, the funds added Coinbase shares to their portfolios for $20 million.
