1inch Network adds zkSync Era support
The liquidity aggregator across decentralized exchanges, 1inch Network, has added support zkSync — L2-solution for scaling the Ethereum network. This was stated in a press release.
EVM-compliant zkSync Era protocol is built on zero-knowledge proofs. On March 24, the Matter Lab team launched an alpha version on the mainnet.
Building on this L2 solution, developers deployed the 1inch Aggregation Protocol and the 1inch Limit Order Protocol.
“Users will gain access to even greater liquidity and, in the long run, to faster transaction speeds and lower fees,” the 1inch team promised.
According to DeFi Llama, TVL of the zkSync Era ecosystem for the incomplete month reached $107.5 million. Almost all liquidity is concentrated in the DEX — SyncSwap, Velocore, iziSwap and others.
More than 200 projects, including Chainlink, SushiSwap, Uniswap,Aave, Argent, Gnosis and Curve, have expressed interest in integrating the new protocol.
Earlier, the 1inch Network team activated a major update Fusion. The developers subsequently integrated the 1inch Swap Engine — a combination of technologies designed to make swaps via the aggregator more advantageous and secure.
Earlier, the project team announced a hardware cryptocurrency wallet. The 1inch Hardware Wallet is expected to go on sale in 2023.
