SEBA, the Swiss crypto bank, rebrands as AMINA Bank
The licensed cryptocurrency bank SEBA from Switzerland has rebranded to AMINA Bank AG. According to a press release.
According to the statement, the move marks a new chapter in the company’s history.
“AMINA is a brand built on constant change, uniting the various “connections” of traditional, digital and crypto banking. That vision of change represents a transformation in the financial future of our clients,” the company stressed.
Representatives said the rebrand will not affect operations. The Abu Dhabi branch and the subsidiaries in Hong Kong and Singapore are to submit name-change applications to align with the headquarters in Zug.
Earlier, the crypto bank received principal approval from the SFC to conduct activities related to digital assets in Hong Kong.
In early 2022, SEBA closed a Series C financing round of CHF 110 million (~$120 million). It was led by Altive, Ordway Selections, Summer Capital and DeFi Technologies.
