Unknown actors pull rug on fake Sleepless AI, FomoFi and NebulaNode tokens

Ahead of the Sleepless AI farming launch on Binance’s Launchpool, unknown actors carried out a rug pull of the token of the same name. PeckShield analysts report this.

They noted that one of the addresses swapped 1,000,000,000 fake AI for $37.7 ETH (~$91,000). As a result, the token price plunged by 97.5%.

The farming of the original Sleepless AI project on Launchpool launched on 28 December. It represents a gaming Web3-platform powered by AI. The token itself is not yet trading on Binance.

Users can stake in BNB, FDUSD and TUSD pools to farm AI tokens. The campaign will run for seven days. 

A similar rug pull was carried out with a counterfeit FomoFi token. The original was launched on December 26.

The attacker’s address swapped over 5.3 trillion FOMO for 189,600 BSC-USD, after which the coin’s price dropped to zero.

Another incident devalued the NebulaNode token after swapping 100 100 100 100 100 100 100 1001 NNNN for 1,033.8 BNB ($335,900).

Earlier, after the Sleepless AI announcement, the exchange token BNB exceeded $300.
