Sui to Launch Native Stablecoin USDsui
Sui announces its native stablecoin USDsui via Bridge platform.
The L1 blockchain Sui has announced the release of its native stablecoin, USDsui, which will be created through the open issuance platform Bridge.
“The new infrastructure will ensure the next stage of growth as Sui transforms into one of the most active online economies in the world,” the project team noted.
USDsui will become the core of the ecosystem, offering developers a fully integrated and protocol-compatible solution for high-performance architecture.
The asset can be used to create other stablecoins “turnkey.”
Following its official launch in 2026, the coin will be available in all wallets and DeFi applications based on Sui. USDsui is also compatible with other stablecoins supported by Bridge on major platforms like Phantom, Hyperliquid, and MetaMask.
“Bridge’s approach provides USDsui with a useful combination of blockchain liquidity and resilience, real-time payment capabilities, and seamless execution of cross-border, monetary, and peer-to-peer transfers,” the company explained about the coin.
The asset is expected to comply with the American GENIUS Act. Sui intends to reinvest any revenue from the coin into the ecosystem in the form of grants and incentives.
The total value locked in the L1 network at the time of writing is $1.35 billion, with the DEX turnover exceeding $340 million.

Back in July, analysts at Mysten Labs identified Sui as one of three blockchains more resistant to quantum attacks. Near and Solana were also included in the list.
