Amazon posts vacancy for DeFi-focused head of blockchain products

Amazon Web Services (AWS), the cloud computing platform, has opened a vacancy for the head of the blockchain products department with experience in decentralized finance (DeFi).

The hire will join the Amazon Managed Blockchain team, which develops scalable blockchain technologies for existing and emerging use cases in DeFi, supply chains, financial services, and identity.

It will also involve developing a go-to-market strategy for AWS products.

The candidate must have experience with Ethereum and Hyperledger Fabric blockchains, decentralized finance (DeFi), and cloud computing.

Earlier in February, Amazon announced the recruitment of developers for the digital currency project in Mexico. The payment solution will allow customers to convert cash into digital currency.
