As part of the partnership, Animoca Brands has invested in Astar Network. The amount of the investment has not been disclosed. The aim is to provide creators and developers with more opportunities to launch digital products on the blockchain and within the Soneium ecosystem.
An element of the integration is the implementation of the Anime ID service from Moca Network, which is responsible for user identification and reputation on the Soneium platform.
Initiatives such as the Anime Art Fest are also supported to attract new creators and rights holders to the digital art sector.
The companies intend to leverage their resources to advance the digital entertainment and Web3 gaming industry, support innovation, and enhance user engagement.
Back in January, the Soneium mainnet was launched. In May, the Uniswap exchange added support for the L2 solution.
