
Apple posts vacancy for Web3-savvy associate creative director of content
Apple has opened a vacancy for an associate creative director of content. According to description on the site, the Web3 sector should be within his remit.
Candidates are expected to have 10 years of experience in developing content strategy and the ability to write creative copy. In addition to Web3, he should “show an interest in interactive platforms”.
The specialist will work in Apple’s Retail Engagement and Marketing department.
As CoinDesk notes, the corporation also posted a vacancy for an art director with a similar Web3 requirement, but subsequently deleted it. However, the text remained on one of the job-search sites.
In May 2021 Apple opened a vacancy for a business development manager with five years’ experience in the cryptocurrency industry.
In the autumn, CEO Tim Cook discussed his personal investments in cryptocurrencies and said there were no plans to launch Apple services tied to digital assets.
In early 2022, Cook stated that the corporation sees “great potential” in the metaverse sector and does not rule out investments in this direction.
In February, the video hosting YouTube posted a vacancy for a Web3 product-management director.
