Bankoff suspends operations. Client funds frozen.

On May 3, Bankoff said that Visa and Stripe had suspended servicing its virtual cards. ForkLog has confirmed this with company representatives.

In a letter, company representatives said that the decision by Visa and Stripe was prompted by a large volume of active users and transactions from Russia.

“Bankoff cards are temporarily not supporting online and offline transfers, and customers’ funds are frozen on an American account,” the company said.

Some users say that clients who funded accounts with cryptocurrencies also cannot withdraw funds.

Bankoff representatives told ForkLog that they are seeking ways to resolve the issue.
