Binance bans use of Norwegian krone on its platform

The cryptocurrency exchange Binance has banned users from using the Norwegian krone in transactions on its platform. The announcement is на сайте.

The restrictions apply to trading and deposit payments. The platform has also halted support for the Norwegian language.

Earlier, Binance made similar decisions regarding южнокорейской воны and малайзийского ринггита. For users from Hong Kong, the company cut доступ к торговле криптодеривативами. Similarly, it acted for European customers, starting with Германии, Италии и Нидерландов.

Binance also reduced the daily withdrawal limit for new users who completed basic account verification, from 2 BTC to 0.06 BTC. In addition, the exchange reduced leverage on the futures platform to 20x.

On July 28, Binance announced the launch of a new API, enabling clients to track their crypto-asset transactions for tax compliance.
