The cryptocurrency exchange Binance launched the Capital Connect service to facilitate connections between its VIP clients and investment fund managers.
The platform features nine levels of “premium account”. This status is awarded to a user when their 30-day trading volume exceeds $1 million and their balance holds at least 25 BNB.
Capital Connect is a free service for all Binance VIP clients, subject to regional restrictions. Users can apply for access to the platform as an investor or fund manager.
To participate in the program, clients must undergo mandatory KYC/KYB verification KYC/KYB.
Investors and fund managers continue to face inefficiencies due to the lack of market standards. With Capital Connect we can help establish disclosure norms for clients with varying investment and fundraising needs, the company blog said.
As of writing, more than 20 fund managers have joined the program, and the number continues to grow.
However, in a risk warning the platform noted that the service is presented as a strictly informational service, provided ‘as is’ with no assurances or guarantees.
