Bitget signs partnership with Lionel Messi

The derivatives exchange Bitget announced its collaboration with Argentine footballer Lionel Messi. This is reported in the exchange’s press release.

Lionel Andrés Messi plays for the French club Paris Saint-Germain and is the holder of six Golden Boots and seven Ballon d’Ors.

“I want to thank Bitget for bringing me into the world of cryptocurrency. I believe that together we can introduce sports fans not only to digital assets but also to Web3,” the footballer commented on the partnership.

In November Messi will join Argentina’s national team as captain. The team will participate in the 22nd FIFA World Cup, with the final scheduled from 20 November to 18 December in Qatar.

\n\n\n\n

“We believe that at the World Cup Messi will bring glory to Argentina. We look forward to meeting Leo in person — the footballer, philanthropist, activist and humanitarian. I am sure that together we can influence the future of football and finance,” said Grace Chen, the managing director of Bitget.

Bitget entered into partnerships with the football clubs Juventus and Galatasaray, as well as the Dota 2 team Team Spirit. Additionally, the company sponsored international esports tournaments run by PGL.

The platform ranks ninth by futures trading volume in CoinGecko’s derivatives exchange ranking.

Earlier, Bitget launched a trading contest with a prize pool of over $10,000 and a giveaway of an iPhone 14 Pro Max.
