Bybit lists OpenBlox NFT platform token OBX

The cryptocurrency exchange Bybit launched trading of the OpenBlox token (OBX) of the eponymous gaming NFT platform in a USDT pair. The platform also distributed 100 million OBX among users.

The total supply of OBX is 10 billion. At the time of writing, the asset’s price stands at 0.016 USDT. Token holders can govern the platform, pay in-game commissions, and earn from staking.

To mark the listing, Bybit launched a promotion: the first 600 traders with trading volumes of 50,000 OBX will receive a share of the prize fund of 2.5 million OBX. The event runs until July 6, 12:00 UTC.

OpenBlox builds online games with SocialFi and GameFi elements — monetisation of in-game achievements and social activity.

\n\n

OpenBlox has already launched a closed beta of an app for walking and running using NFT sneakers Runblox.

\n

The game operates on Move-to-Earn principles: users move and earn RUX tokens. The current price of the asset is $2.45.

\n\n

With RUX, players can upgrade existing sneakers or release a new model as an NFT. Players sell the created sneakers or rent them out. In terms of trading volume and market capitalization, the game ranks first in the Avalanche network.

We have secured investments for the development of RunBlox and other OpenBlox platform products from billionaire Yusaku Maezawa, also known as the Japanese Elon Musk,\” said Sunil Chauhan, the company’s chief marketing officer.

By the end of 2022, OpenBlox plans to launch the online game Rogueblox.
\nIn it, players will create and collect NFT heroes, travel through the game’s universe, and fight monsters.

\n\n

OpenBlox has also launched marketplaces for trading Rogueblox characters and Runblox sneakers. At the time of publication, the company is developing games LandBlox and ActionBlox with Play-to-Earn elements.
