China’s National Blockchain Platform (BSN) will complete the integration of the digital yuan with 30 public blockchains in 2021, according to a post on the the project’s blog.
BSN is developing a universal digital payment network (UDPN) that will be able to support central-bank digital currencies (CBDCs) from different countries.

Developers will provide a standardized method for transferring digital value. As a result, the UDPN will be accessible via an API for various systems, including banking and mobile applications.
Earlier, the Chinese blockchain platform added support for Polkadot, Oasis and Bityuan.
In Shenzhen ATMs, China tested the digital yuan and a laboratory to develop CBDC-enabled applications was launched.
