ConsenSys анонсировал launch of a collection of ‘sustainable’ non-fungible tokens (NFTs), tied to the activation of The Merge on the Ethereum network.
According to the press release, NFT were developed in collaboration with artist Chris Skinner and animation firm Keithcity Group.
All tokens in the Regenesis collection will be free. To obtain them, connect your MetaMask wallet and submit an application on the day of activation The Merge — around September 15-16.
Each NFT depicts a ‘meticulously detailed world, embodying one of the main advantages of the merge: sustainability, security and scalability’.
Earlier, supporters of a PoW fork of Ethereum called it inevitable. They intend to roll back EIP-1559, which implies burning part of transaction fees.
Earlier, the largest Ethereum mining pool Ethermine launched a staking service for the second-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization.
