In Dagestan’s Botlikhsky District, police обнаружили an illegally connected to the power grid cryptocurrency mining farm.
According to investigators, the miners belong to a 35-year-old resident of the Dakhadaevsky District. He placed the equipment in a non-residential premises and connected to a nearby power line.
The farm had been operating since November.
In the premises, police found components, a laptop and ASIC miners.
The preliminary damage to the power company is estimated at 257,000 rubles.
Earlier, Dagestan police uncovered two major mining farms, illegally connected to power grids. The total damage from their operation amounted to about 1.6 million rubles.
