
Doodles NFT Project Launches Token and Conducts Airdrop
On May 9, the NFT project Doodles released its native token, DOOD, on the Solana blockchain. At 16:05 (Kyiv/MSK), the announced distribution of the asset among users commenced.

Several platforms, including Bybit, Bitget, Binance Alpha, and KuCoin, have announced support for DOOD.
According to CoinGecko, following the start of trading, Doodles token prices fell by approximately 5% to $0.0075. There are 7.8 billion DOOD in circulation out of a total issuance of 10 billion.
The tokenomics plan allocates 30% of the coin supply to the community, 17% to the team, and 25% to form an ecosystem fund.
$DOOD will launch with a supply of 10,000,000,000 on Solana, with a future bridge to Base.

Alongside the token, the project introduced DreamNet, a decentralized protocol for “story creation” based on AI, reports The Block. Users will earn DOOD rewards for using their creations in games and animations on the platform.
The Doodles team also launched an office survival game, Lord of the Files, with a prize pool of 500,000 DOOD.
In the first quarter, NFT trading volume declined by 24% compared to the last quarter of 2024, reaching $1.5 billion. The Doodles collection accounted for $66.5 million, according to a DappRadar report.
