The round valued the company at $1 billion.
The funds will be used for education, compensation and expanding the capabilities of a new generation of Web 3.0 data analysts.
The startup also plans to expand to other blockchains with additional tools.
Dune Analytics works with data from Ethereum, Polygon, Optimism and xDAI. The developers plan to integrate all Ethereum Virtual Machine-compatible systems.
Most features of the platform are free — users can access the database and create dashboards. The paid plan, starting at $390 per month, offers expanded customization, private queries and data export.
In September 2020 Dune Analytics raised $2 million in seed funding. In August 2021 the startup closed a Series A funding round worth $8 million.
In December, the analytics firm Nansen raised $75 million.
