Ethereum futures trading volume hits a record $172.2 billion

The monthly trading volume of Ethereum futures in September hit a new record of $172.2 billion, according to data from The Block.

The previous peak was recorded in August at $163.1 billion. The month-over-month increase stood at 5.3%, and since the beginning of 2020 — almost 320%.

The most popular exchanges for trading Ethereum futures are Huobi, OKEx, Binance and BitMEX.
