As of writing, the digital asset was trading around $2100.
On April 2, Ethereum tested the $2000 level, and later reached a new high above $2080.
According to CoinGecko, the cryptocurrency market’s total capitalisation neared $2 trillion. Bitcoin trades below $60,000.
