On 19 March, the large Chinese mining pool F2Pool urgently приостановил mining of Grin due to a node error.
During the maintenance period, payouts to miners were also suspended.
“Grin miners should temporarily suspend mining to prevent damage to the node, and wait for its restoration. We will notify miners about the resumption of pool operation,” said F2Pool representatives.
Users were advised to switch to mining other coins to minimise losses.
The price of the coin fell by more than 10% following the news, and at the time of writing it was trading at $0.557.
