Four more protocols have been filed with the Tagansky district justice of the peace court against Facebook over failure to remove information deemed prohibited on the territory of the Russian Federation.
According to Interfax, under the new protocols Facebook could be fined up to 16 million rubles.
In total, 12 protocols have been sent to the court against the company. If found liable on each, Facebook could face fines totalling 56 million rubles.
Earlier, for similar charges, the court fined Twitter on 8.9 million rubles, TikTok on 2.6 million rubles and Telegram on 5 million rubles.
