Gazprom Neft launches world’s first NFT press release

Gazprom Neft released a press release in the format of a non-fungible token (NFT). The company says this is the first NFT release in the world.

The token is dedicated to Russia’s first blockchain platform for refuelling aircraft — Smart Fuel, which is promoted by the company.

The NFT design uses a fragment of the art project \”Digital Twins\” — a joint work of Gazprom Neft and artist Maxim Zhestkov.

In April, Gazprom Neft, together with Raiffeisen Bank, tested issuing digital bank guarantees on the blockchain platform Masterchain.
