
Grayscale assets under management reach $19 billion
Assets of Grayscale Investments funds in Bitcoin, Ethereum and other cryptocurrencies reached $19 billion. According to founder Barry Silbert, the figure has risen 2.5 times in two months.

As of November 1, the asset value stood at $7.6 billion. By December 15, the figure had risen to $13 billion, nearly doubling over a month and a half.
The lion’s share of the company’s assets is in the Grayscale Bitcoin Trust fund. данным Bybt as of December 29, this fund contains 607,140 BTC worth more than $16.26 billion. The second-largest asset fund, the Grayscale Ethereum Trust, holds 2.94 million ETH worth $2.16 billion. Its shares trade at $7.39 with a premium of 128.69%.
Remaining assets are spread across funds based on Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash and Ethereum Classic.
Earlier, on December 23, Grayscale Investments halted deposits in six cryptocurrency funds.
