In Moscow, a stablecoins seller was robbed of a bag containing $1 million during a deal

A victim has filed a police report in Moscow, alleging that he was robbed of $1 million during a sale of digital assets.

According to TASS, citing a source in law enforcement authorities, during the deal the buyer handed the victim a bag of cash for the Tether stablecoins. Two unknown assailants then burst into the room, snatched the bag from him, and handed it back to its original owner.

Subsequently, the victim managed to contact the buyer. The latter attributed the incident to the work of his security service and promised to return the money, but subsequently stopped responding.

The police have opened an investigation.

Earlier in Moscow, during a cryptocurrency sale 7 million rubles were stolen.
