In The Simpsons, Bitcoin price soars to infinity

The creators of the cult animated series The Simpsons, in a new episode aired on April 11, predicted the price of the leading cryptocurrency to infinity. Reddit users drew attention.

In the eighteenth episode of the thirty-second season, a scrolling ticker of financial assets appears on screen. The price of Bitcoin is marked with a green infinity symbol.

The following are GameStop (GME) stock quotes. They rise by 1 trillion and immediately shed 2 trillion, a nod to the financial scandal the company was involved in in January 2021.

They also mentioned Bitcoin in a crossover episode with Family Guy and in the mobile game The Simpsons: Tapped Out.
