Linea's Layer-2 platform launches loyalty programme with NFT rewards

The Linea project from ConsenSys developers unveiled a loyalty programme aimed at boosting the use of the testnet second-layer solution.

As part of the Linea Voyage campaign, users will earn NFTs for completing certain tasks using the testnet. The idea is to increase activity on the platform and study various aspects of its operation in the run-up to the mainnet launch expected in the coming months.

Weekly tasks include using cross-chain protocols that support the Linea testnet, among which Hop Protocol, Celer Network, Multichain and Connext.

To implement the loyalty programme, the L2 project partnered with the Galxe platform. The Galxe platform has been used by Arbitrum, Optimism and Polygon projects. Such campaigns have often ended in airdrops.

The Linea Layer-2 network uses zero-knowledge proof technology (ZK-Rollups).

The platform is fully compatible with the EVM. This means the solution supports mainnet code, and developers can use existing tools and infrastructure.

On March 28, the Linea testnet became publicly available.
