Media: Huobi to launch pool for mining Chia
Huobi’s mining pool plans to launch Chia mining. This was reported by journalist Colin Wu.
The mining pool of Huobi, China’s largest exchange, will launch the Chia mining pool. Chia has fallen 47.8% in the past 30 days and is currently at $506. The hashrate of Chia’s entire network has reached 21848P, an increase of nearly 7x from a month ago.

In comments, ForkLog representatives from Huobi Global confirmed the information:

On May 14, the exchange listed the coin and opened deposits.

Chia developer Bram Cohen said that some unofficial pools complained about allegedly fake proofs of space. This, he said, occurs due to partial validation of data and the continual connection of new miners.

«Some drops in the amount of available disk space in the network apparently caused pools to disconnect users who were cheating them», – wrote him.
Cohen urged users to wait for the official launch of the network’s own mining protocol for the coin.
Over the past 30 days, Chia’s price has fallen 47.8% and, at the time of writing, stands at $541. The amount of disk space occupied by the coin has reached 24.6 exabytes.
As a reminder, miners of the cryptocurrency are currently pooling in pools not controlled by the Chia Network. The dominant pool is Chinese Hpool with a total hashrate of 11.1 exabytes. On the pool’s address, more than 33% of all mined coins are held.
Earlier Bram Cohen urged miners to abandon unofficial pools. The Poolchia project launched its own protocol on May 30, открыта предварительная регистрация. It will support trustworthy pools with low fees, between which users will be able to switch.
